There is no requirement to join; simply come and pay what you wish to play. Despite the somewhat higher session rates, the sessions are longer than the other ones. This one is for the people who live in Dadar East and everyone else who wants to go to Dadar. The Bhagini Samaj, a Hindu colony, has an indoor badminton court in south Mumbai. Without needing to register for a membership, you can simply drop by, plan a session (individually or with a group), and pay by the hour. The only time they accept bookings is on the weekends, so arrive as early as you can unless you plan to sit on the sidelines and watch others play.
Just opposite the Mandar flats on Yari Road is a sizable, well-kept park with two outdoor courts (Seven Bungalows). There are lots of excellent badminton players who show up to play there. The park is free to visit, but due to its popularity and crowds, you might have to wait to reserve a court for your party or yourself.
This Lokhandwala sports club is well-equipped and offers a variety of amenities. It features one huge indoor court with blue carpeting and offers instruction for children. Guests are welcome to play here from 10 AM to 3 PM, albeit you must have a member with you, which is sad on weekdays but excellent on weekends.
The Goregaon Sports Club has six excellent indoor courts. The only requirement is that the member goes with you. As a result, you are welcome to go there and play if you are a member. Also, they provide shuttlecocks for a charge.
Saina Nehwal and P.V. Sindhu, two of India's top shuttlers, have trained on the NSCI courts in Colaba. The primary badminton room contains three courts: two with wooden floors and one with a synthetic surface. The room is spacious and has high ceilings and air conditioning throughout.
