How to choose?
To choose cardio training clothing that's right for you, you'll want to take into account your workout level and frequency. There are three criteria to consider: perspiration wicking, fabric weight and support.
When doing cardio training activities (treadmill running, cross trainer or classes such as step), you perspire, which can make you uncomfortable if you aren't wearing suitable clothing. This is why the more intense your activities, the more important it is to wear breathable fabrics.
They absorb perspiration and wick it away to the outer side of the fabric so it dries quickly.
For intensive cardio activities, opt for technical clothing with vents at the back, behind the knees, at the waistline, etc.
For greater freedom of movement without constriction, choose lightweight fabrics. They'll be more comfortable so you can forget about your clothing and just focus on your workout.
For more intense activities, a lightweight fabric can be great for either loose-fit or slim second-skin effect options.
In addition to wicking away perspiration, some lightweight fabrics also feature odour control technology. This is perfect for very intense training.
