Anti-UV tops are also available in thermal versions (fleece interior) and neoprene versions to reduce that cold feeling.
The UPF 50+ protection index means that your anti-UV T-shirt stops at least 95% of UVA rays and 98% of UVB rays, in keeping with the standard EN-13758-2.
The specific textile and water-repellent treatment allows the water to escape through the mesh, for ultra-fast drying. Consequently, the chill factor due to the wind is reduced significantly.
