READ MOREHello Folks! Welcome to a new lesson on how to use an anti-fog marker. Before we begin, here's a fun fact: the first-ever Swimming Googles was invented in the 14th century made of polished Tortoiseshells. Now let’s learn how to use an anti-fog marker.
Fogging up of swimming goggles is a common complaint. I have seen people wanting an exchange after only a month of their purchase. I have been swimming competitively for the past 5 years and I can tell you that there are no goggles out there that can completely remove fogging. Condensation is the culprit behind foggy goggles. Your goggles cool off in the water, but the area around your eyes heats up due to your body temperature. The combination of hot and cold causes water droplets to form on the inside of your goggles — which creates fog.
These are chemicals that prevent the condensation of water in the form of small droplets on a surface that resembles fog. Anti-Fogging products are available as spray solutions, creams, gels, wet wipes.
